The North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association serves as a conduit for nurse practitioner professionals to network with each other, to collaborate with interested parties and to act on health policy issues.

The North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association is interested in promoting policy that contributes in a positive fashion to the healthcare industry.

The North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association is committed to employing a legislative program that effectively executes plans of action on health policy legislative issues and will support legislation that:

  • Improves health and well-being of citizens

  • Advocates for health promotion and disease prevention

  • Respects human diversity

  • Increases accessibility to healthcare

  • Promotes cost-effective, high quality health care

  • Fosters individual choice in health care matters

  • Endorses healthcare consumer and healthcare professional education
