Job Posting: Assistant Professor of Practice

North Dakota State University School of Nursing is looking for a half-time, nine-month faculty position to coordinate and teach the BSN nursing pharmacology course and other course content as assigned by the Associate Dean of the School of Nursing. Anticipated start date of January 2019.


Minimum Qualifcations:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with completion of an advanced pharmacology course, or Doctor of Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner, or Pharm D. degree;

  • Eligibility for professional licensure in North Dakota;

  • Three years of clinical experience;

  • Evidence of excellent knowledge base in pharmacology;

  • Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Earned doctoral degree in nursing or comparable qualification;

  • Experience in nursing or health professions education;

  • Potential for excellence in research/scholarship
