Dental therapy bill on the house next week

Thousands of North Dakotans currently do not receive regular, routine dental care. Far too many families, kids, older, and rural North Dakotans don’t have access to affordable dental care. North Dakota House members will soon vote on House Bill 1426, legislation that would authorize Dental Therapists to practice in the state under the supervision of dentists. Dental therapists can help expand affordable, quality care to more patients and provide treatment to underserved at-risk populations in community settings, such as schools or nursing homes, and rural areas. Urge your representative to close the dental gap by supporting HB 1426 which would help improve access to affordable dental care for families, kids, lower-income, older North Dakotans, Native Americans, Medicaid beneficiaries, and those without dental insurance.
